It has a one-inch thick steel plate as a cooking surface, under which three independently controlled heating units are positioned. This means a wide range of food can be prepared across this 36-inch griddle simultaneously. Mounted underneath is a 4 1/2 quart drip pan that can be easily removed for draining and cleaning. The Star Manufacturing – 536TGF – Star-Max® 36 inch Electric Griddle also has a 4 1/2 inch splashguard on three sides. The 536TGF is UL-EPH listed.
